摘要: 无线传感器网络综合了传感器、嵌入式系统和无线通信等技术,具有广泛的应用前景。采集语音、图像、视频等多媒体信息的多媒体无线传感器网络是当前的研究热点之一。 本文针对长期野外环境观测的应用需求,设计和实现了一个具备图像采集功能的无线传感器节点系统。该系统需要长期工作于野外的各种恶劣环境,依靠电池供电,利用无线通信传输数据,对数据处理、网络传输、系统寿命、服务质量等都提出了较高的要求,对于多媒体无线传感器网络的研究与应用具有重大意义和挑战性。 本文实现了一种可用于图像采集和传输的无线传感器节点。该节点基于嵌入式微处理器MSP430F1611,通过符合IEEE802.15.4通信协议的无线通信模块进行数据传输,同时利用CMOS(Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)图像采集传感器完成环境图像信息的采集。多个节点通过CTP(Collection Tree Protocol)网络路由协议,可以自组织的形成多跳的树型无线通信网络,每个节点采集的图像数据经过多跳传输最终汇集到树形拓扑的根节点(汇聚节点)处,再由汇聚节点转发到用户终端管理站程序。 针对CTP协议的不足,设计了逐跳确认重传的可靠传输机制,和基于流量控制的拥塞控制机制,提高了传输可靠性。经过实际测试,系统性能基本达到设计目标,具有一定的创新性和实用性。
英文摘要: Wireless sensor networks (WSN) which combines the technology of sensor, embedded system and wireless communications,have a bright application prospect. As the technology improves, Multimedia Wireless Sensor Networks (MWSN) which focus on audio, image and video, become one of the present research hot-spots. This paper designs and implements an image collection nodes system based on WSN for long-time field environment monitoring. The system need to work at various hard environment for a long time, collecting and transferring image data by battery power and wireless communication. More attention is acquired for the problem of data processing, network transport, system lifetime and QoS (Quality of Service). It is significant and challenging for the research and application of MWSN. This system is made up of several sensor nodes, which are made up of on a microcontroller, a wireless communication module for IEEE802.15.4 protocol, and a CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) image sensor. By the CTP (Collection Tree Protocol) routing protocol, several sensor nodes can build up a self-organized and ad-hoc wireless network with a tree topology. All the image data from every sensor node would be centralized to the sink node, and transmitted to the management software on user terminal. Because of the disadvantage of CTP protocol, this paper presents a reliable transport mechanism of hop-by-hop acknowledgement, and a congestion control mechanism of flow control, for improving the QoS. Local testing shows that the system whose performance achieves the acquirement of the original design, makes sense for innovation and application.
