English AbstractIn this paper, we present an opportunistic spectrum sharing (OSS) scheme with quality-of-service (QoS) support for the secondary users (SUs) with non-real-time (NRT) traffic and real-time (RT) traffic in the presence of unreliable spectrum sensing in cognitive radio networks (CRNs). We also model the scheme using a 4-dimentional continuous-time Markov chain and derive spectrum sharing performance by taking the spectrum sensing errors into consideration. Our results show that the proposed scheme can improve the performance of SUs significantly and guarantee the QoS requirements of RT-SUs even under unreliable spectrum detection. © 2013 IEEE.; In this paper, we present an opportunistic spectrum sharing (OSS) scheme with quality-of-service (QoS) support for the secondary users (SUs) with non-real-time (NRT) traffic and real-time (RT) traffic in the presence of unreliable spectrum sensing in cognitive radio networks (CRNs).
