English Abstract目前,网络正在走向更多的家庭,家庭内部的网络化和信息化进程也已经开始。为此人们对不同角度提出了信息家电、3C合一、数字化家庭网络、智能化信息家庭等概念。家庭网络应该能连接计算机、机顶盒、计算机外围设备、音视频设备、微波炉、洗衣机及各种仪表、防盗报警等多种设备。就目前的技术发展而言,还没有一种技术能够涵盖上述所有设备,但有一些技术有可能在这一领域的某一方面发挥作用,如USB、IrDA、无线网络、IEEE1394、Ethernet、RS232等。在这些技术中IEEE1394在组建多媒体系统方面具有良好的特性。国家863-306主题把该项技术的研究作为一个子课题,这篇论文就是以这项研究工作为背景撰写的。论文论述了基于IEEE1394的实时摄像机应用系统的实现机制,探讨了IEEE1394协议栈的构成及其实现,分析了数学视频的特点,并给出了通过IEEE1394总线传输数字视频的具体实现方法以及数字视频的音视频的解压方法,进一步展望了通过IEEE1394总线来组建家庭网络的解决方案。全文共分六章来讨论:第一章分析了IEEE1394的诞生背景,指出通过IEEE1394高速总线的研究现状;第二章主要是从基本功能、协议栈以及逻辑单元等方面介绍了IEEE1394高速总线;第三章主要阐述了数字视频的原理及其与IEEE1394的关系;第四章阐述了整个系统构建的总体框架,讲述了基于IEEE1394的摄像机应用系统各部分的具体实现;第五章重点是研究了通过IEEE1394高速总线组建家庭网络的可行性,介绍了IP over IEEE1394,指出了未来的发展方向;第六章是结束语。
AbstractRecently, the demand for dealing with high capacity multimedia data such as video streams in the home has grown through the spread of high-performance Personal Computers(PCs) and through the expansion of digital Audio/Visual(AV) consumer equipment and digital broadcasting. PC networks are already beginning to be constructed in homes through the explosive spread of the Internet. Against this background, the fusion of PCs and AV equipment together with other home equipment is attracting much attention as a major topic which can bring great benefits to the industrial world. As far as the present technology is concerned, there are not any technology which can include all the equipment above. However, there are some technology that can play a part in this area, such as USB, IrDA, wireless networks IEEE1394, Ethernet and RS232 etc. Among these technologies, the high-performance serial bus IEEE1394, is a highly promising solution as an infrastructure which can support the trends, because of its superior features, including high speed, guaranteed bandwidth, plug and play, hot plug, slim cable and flat hierarchy. This thesis mainly shows the implementation mechanism of the real-time camcorder application system based on IEEE1394. This thesis does research on the architecture and implementation method of the protocol stack of IEEE1394, and analyses the feature of Digital Video. Based on these, this paper gives the solution of transferring Digital Video over IEEE1394 serial bus and the method of decoding Digital Video. Furthermore, at the end of this paper it also explores the solution of utilizing IEEE1394 to construct home networks. The paper is divided into several chapters as follows: The first chapter shows the background of IEEE1394 and the present research status of IEEE1394 high-performance serial bus. The second chapter mainly explains the protocol stack of IEEE1394 from several aspects including basic function, system architecture and logic units and so on. In chapter 3, I describe the principle of Digital Video and the relationship with IEEE1394. The comes the forth chapter, which is the main body of the thesis. In this chapter, I pay every effort to describe how to implement the camcorder application system base don IEEE1394 serial bus protocol stack. To make it neat and easy to be understand, I separate the system into several modules: libraw1394 module, raw1394 module, ieee1394 module, capture Digital Video module, decoding video module and decoding audio module. In the last chapter, I explore the technology of IP over IEEE1394, explain the solution mechanism of constructing home networks with IEEE1394 and point out the application future of IEEE1394 home networks.
