AbstractTo meet the flexibility & scalability of business process, we prefer to model business process on distributed object which represent 'service tasks'. As enabling infrastructure for object-oriented design, distributed WFMS (Workflow Management System) can flexibly describe business rules among autonomous 'service tasks', and be scalable software developing environment for large-scale business processing. Under distributed object and mobile agent infrastructure, FlowAgent realizes a WFMS (Workflow Management System) with distributed object and agent concept. In the prototype of FlowAgent, we will design the 'multi-TaskDomain architecture' for distributed WFMS with distributed object technology such as CORBA, Java, mobile agent to support dynamic scheduling among distributed tasks, we will also use a distributed task-running authorization which is based on public/private key to realize dynamic role-binding.
