English AbstractThe vehicular mobility models will seriously affect the simulation results of the key technologies for Vehicular Delay Tolerant Networks. Most of the existing vehicular mobility models are synthetic mobility models which cannot properly reflect the real environment. Th This is paper proposed vehicular mobility model based on real traces, which has considered the road topology, the vehicle speed control rules rules, the vehicle initial location, the turning probability at intersection and so on. On this bas basis is is, it further analyzed the closeness of simulation of the actual vehicle behavior from the model, the statistics characteristic of vehic vehicular ar trace and the network connection characteristic. The simulation results show that the proposed model can factually approximate the actual behavior of vehicle in real environment. © 2010 IEEE.
